Recruitment of Senior System Officer in High Court of Jammu and Kashmir

Applications in the prescribed format (ANNEXURE-A) are invited from permanent residents of J&K State for the post of Senior System Officer High Court Wing Jammu under e-Courts Mission Mode Project on consolidated wages. Application forms may be personally delivered in the office of the undersigned at Jammu for the candidates belonging to Jammu Province, at Srinagar for the candidates belonging to Kashmir Province and candidates belonging to Leh and Kargil Districts can submit their application forms in the Court of their respective Principal District & Sessions Judge on or before 10-02-2016.

Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science with first class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate OR

B.E/B.Tech /MCA in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology with first class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate with One Year experience in relevant field

Consolidated Monthly Wage: Rs18000/=

Age Limit: Not exceeding 37 Years as on 01-01 -2016.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

a. To assist the High Court in ICT System administration and management.

 b. To manage ICT infrastructure such as computers, scanners, printers, LAN, Internet Connectivity, Communication equipment such as Switches, Routers, Modems, Wi Fi etc.

c. Interaction with vendors for maintaining and supporting the equipment.

d. Installation and maintenance of OS, office tools, customized application running, taking out of hard copies or support copies of reports etc.

e. Assistance in training judges and court staff for effective utilization of I.T resources.

f. Ownership of problem resolution for addressing the complaints of District and Subordinate Courts for smooth operation of ICT infrastructure.

g. Such other technical support duties as assigned by the High Court from time to time.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The post carries consolidated monthly wages of Rs.18000/= (Rupees eighteen thousand only) and is purely contractual in nature with initial contract of service for two years.

2. Extension of contract will depend upon the job requirement and will be absolutely at the discretion of the High Court." '

3. The payment of wages shall be subject to availability of funds from the Government.

4. All eligible candidates will be required to appear for the interview at Jammu on a date which will be notified separately. The date of interview shall be notified through print media and no separate call letters will be mailed to the candidates.

5. No Travelling allowance will be paid to the candidates appearing in the interview.

6. Incomplete application form, applications received after due date will be summarily rejected. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
