SSC CGL Exam 2016 Recruitment

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination – 2016-17 (Tier-I) in the month of May on 08.05.2016 and 22.05.2016.  Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted by SSC every year for around 20,000 vacancies. This exam is a golden opportunity for jobless candidates to get into Government jobs. SSC CGLE is conducted for selection to ‘B’ and ‘C’ grade posts. Here’s a detailed schedule for SSC CGL exam for 2016:

Exam Name: Combined Graduate Level Examination – 2016 (Tier-I)
Closing Date of submission of application forms: 14.03.2016
Exam Date: 08 May, 2016 and 22 May, 2016
Total vacancy: around 20,000


How to apply?
Candidates need to apply online through the website of SSC i.e ssconline2.gov.in.

Essential qualification: Candidates must possess bachelor degree in any discipline from any recoganized institute of India. 

Age Limit:
Unreserved/ General within age limit of 18 to 27 can apply. Age relaxation for other candidates will be as per rules of government of India

Application Fee: Rs 100 for unreserved candidates. No application fee for reserved candidates

Mode of Selection:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in CGL Exam(Tier I and Tier II) conducted by SSC

Total Duration/ Timing for General candidates: 2 Hours
Total Duration/ Timing for Visually Handicapped candidates: 2 Hours 40 mins

The detailed notification will be published on 13th February, 2016 as per calendar schedule provided by SSC for year 2016. It will be updated soon on this website also.
