Jammu
University invites applications for the post of permanent residents of J&K State
for clerical post. The current recruitment for clerical staff is purely on need
basis. The details about the post are given below:

Remuneration: Rs. 7000/- per month

5 Feb, 20l6 upto 05:00P.M
The panel prepared purely on merit basis of Graduation
only (without interview) shall be valid for a
period of one I year and further extendable with the approval of the competent Authority
The merit list
so prepared shall be displayed on the University website www.jammuuniversity.in by 19.02.2016 and
shall be open to objections, if any, till 26.02.2016. There shall be no claim/ right
of such candidates whatsoever for the temporary/ permanent absorption in the
university and the said arrangement shall purely be needs based in nature in
nature and only as per the requirements of the university.
Qualification
certificates required:
(i) the candidates
must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized
University
with at least 60% Marks;
(ii) Candidates
must have minimum one year Diploma in Computer Application from a Govt. recognized institute;
(iii) Certificate
of medical fitness by a Grade - I Surgeon; and an
(iv)
Affidavit attested by a Magistrate 1st class that the information submitted by
the candidate is correct for such an engagement.
AGE AS ON 01.01.2015:
(i) Minimum
for all Candidates = 18 years
(ii) Maximum
for:
(a) General
Candidates = 40 years
(b) Socially
and Educationally backward classes viz. weak and under classes (Social Caste)/ ALC/
SC/ ST/ RBA Candidates = 43 years
(c)
Physically Handicapped = 42
(d)
Ex-Serviceman = 48 years
(e) In
case of candidates already in Government Service / Contractual employees = 40
How to
apply:
(i) Prescribed
application forms can be obtained from the Forms & Stationery Section of the
University
of Jammu, Jammu, personally on a payment of Rs. 200/-.
(ii) Interested
candidates may send their application by Registered / Speed Post in the prescribed
application-form along with self-attested copies of certificates of their educational
qualifications, experience, etc. to the Assistant Registrar (Estab), 1st
Floor, New Administration Block,
University of Jammu, Jammu on or before 15 Feb, 2016 upto 5:00 p.m
