In pursuance to the Govt. Order No. 735-GAD of 2008 Dated
30-05-2008 GO No. 111-Agri of 2011 dated :- 31-03-2011 applications on
prescribed format indicated as Annexure "A' are invited from the permanent
residents of Jammu Division (all districts of Jammu Division) for filling up of
the posts of (Class-IV) in the office of Additional Director. Sericulture Dev.
Department. Jammu in the Pay Band of 4440-7440 (Grade Pay Rs.1300/-) for
recruitment of Class-IV category is as under :-

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Candidate from
Jammu Province can apply.
3.
The age of applicant should not be exceeded the
age limit as mentioned below as on 27-06-2016.
a. Minimum -18 Years
b. Maximum (General) – 40 Years
c.
Reserved Category – 43 Years
d. Physically Challenged – 42 Years
e. Ex-Serviceman - 48 Years
f.
Candidate already in Govt Service - 40 Years
4.
The
minimum and maximum qualification for appointment of Class IV posts shall be
Matric and 10+2 prescribed vide SRO 99 of 2008 Dated 07-04-2008. No additional
weightage shall be given for higher qualification. The application accompanied
with Higher Qualification will not be accepted The appointee shall however, in
the matter of age. qualification, conduct and other ancillary matters shall be
governed by the recruitment rules and Government orders in vogue at the time of
appointment

The
application form accompanied with necessary documents/testimonials and two
recent Passport Size Photographs pasted at specified places and duly attested
by a Gazetted Officer must be delivered by hand or Registered Post against a
proper receipt during office hours at the following address: Office of the
Additional Director; Sericulture Development Department, Jammu Opposite Super
Specialty Hospital. B.C.Road. Jammu. 180001. up to 1.30 PM. till 20-07-2016.
The Registered Post application will also entertain which will be received in
this office upto 20-07-2016 at 1 30 PM The application received after
20-07-2016 will not be entertained and hence rejected

Application
forms incomplete in any manner shall be liable to rejection without any notice.
7. The Selection Committee reserves the right to short
list candidates on the basis of Merit.
8.
The
Candidates called for interview shall have to produce their academic
qualification/Date of Birth Certificate/Reserved Category Certificate/State
Subject Certificate etc. in original at the time of interview
9. Filled
in Application form without requisite testimonials/documents shall be out
rightly rejected without any intimation to the candidate.
10. The Chairman reserves the
right to change the number of vacancies till the finalization of selection
list/selection process.
11. The Application form
should be accompanied with attested copies of the following certificates.
a) Permanent Resident
Certificate.
b) Date of Birth Certificate.
c) Marks Sheet in 12th Class
and 10th Class with Diploma of Matriculation.
d) Category Certificate.
e) Character Certificate from
the Gazetted Officer.
f) Self-addressed envelope
affixed with Postal Stamp worth Rs. 5/- superscribed as “Application for the
post of ________”
12. The candidate selected for
interview will also submit an affidavit from the Judiciary that my Academic
Qualification is not more than 12th Class as required under rule for
recruitment and if found higher my candiddature will be rejected.
13. No. TA/DA will be paid for
participants in the interview
Criteria for
Short Listing of the candidates for interview,
In case the number of candidates are large and not
possible/convement to call all the candidates for interview, the short list of
candidates shall be done in the following manner:-
i) Total Points for Short listing = 80 points
ii) Weigtage to be given to the marks Obtained in
the Matriculation = 60 points
iii)
Weightage to be given to the marks Obtained in
the (12th) = 20 points
Criteria for

Total Points = 100 points
v) Weightage to Matric marks = 60 points
vi)
Weightage to 12th marks= 20 points
vii)
Points for viva voice= 60 points
14. Short listing of candidates on pro-rata basis i.e 1:5
ratio will be published in the Newspaper/Print Media and no individual interview call letters will be
issued.
15. The Selected incumbents will have to perform the
duties as prescribed against each post and also perform duties as per the
departmental/technical activities in the field/Nurseries/Farms in Jammu
Province
