BSF J&K is recruiting male and female candidates for the post of constable
(GD) in
Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) on temporary basis likely to be permanent
in the pay band-I (Rs 5200-20200 with Grade pay Rs 2,000/-) plus usual and
admissible allowances to Central Govt. employees from time to time. In
addition, Ration allowance, Medical Assistance, free uniform, free
accommodation, free leave pass, etc as admissible to Central Govt employees The
post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in
India and even abroad. They will be governed under relevant Acts and Rules of
respective CAPFs as well as CCS Rules. The selected candidates will be governed
by the new contributory Pension Scheme, which came into effect from 01 Jan, 2004. Its an opportunity for the
unemployed youth of J&K to serve the state and the nation . The details for

Classification
of post:- Classification of post is general
central service group 'C' not gazitted/non ministerial and combatised. Method
of recruitment/ filling up of these posts will be by way of.

For appointment of the post of constable (GD) in BSF,
male candidate must meet the following eligibility condition.
a) Age
between 19 to 23 as on last date of the submission of
application.
Relaxation: - relaxation in upper age for SC/ST/OBC/Ex
serviceman.

Ex serviceman - present age of the candidate minus army

Method of Selection. :- The selection procedure for the post of
constable (GD) completes in seven steps.
1. Preliminary screening / physical measurement.
2. Document checking.
3. Physical efficiency test (PET) - 1 mile Run, high Jump, long Jump.
4. Literacy and Intelligence test.
5. Interview.
6. Medical examination.
7. Merit list.
There are extra 10 marks for
