Jobs in GMC Srinagar for Class-IV posts

Applications are invited for the posts of Sweeper on the prescribed format given in Annexure “A” from the candidates who are:-

1. Permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir State.

2. Are in possession of 8th Pass (Middle Pass) Certificate from Govt. recognized Institutions.

Age Limit: Age as on 01-01-2016 should not be

i) Below the age of 18 years and

ii) Above the age of 40 years in case of open merit.

iii) 42/43 years in respect of reserved category candidates.

3. The breakup of posts as per SRO-294 of 2005 is given as under

Pay scale:  Rs. 4440-7440+ GP 1300

Total No. of Posts: 107 (OM-61, RBA- 21, SC-9, ST-11, OSC-02, ALC-03)

The candidates are required to submit the application form duly completed alongwith self attested copies of below mentioned testimonials/ documents in the office of Principal/ Dean, Govt. Medical College, Sgr. w.e.f 24-10-2016 to 23-11-2016 from 10 am to 1.00 pm on all working days.

a) Date of Birth Certificate.

b) 8th Pass Certificate

c) Permanent Resident Certificate.

d) Sweeper Community Certificate to be issued by concerned Tehsildar.

e) Category certificate, if any.

f) An affidavit duly signed by Ist Class Magistrate to the effect that their qualification is 8th and not beyond.

Note: In respect of Divisional cadre posts only those candidates belonging to the Kashmir Division can apply. However, candidates of Jammu Division belonging to Scheduled Caste Category can also apply.
