J&K State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDC) invites applications on prescribed Forms from the permanent residents of J&K State for appointment against the following posts. The application Forms duly filled-in should reach to the Corporate office at Srinagar or Jammu within 10 days after the publication of this Notice. Breakup of the posts, Educational qualifications, age limit and other details are given below:-

5	Chartered Accountant	1	OM -1	Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5200	Qualified Chartered Accountant having passed the Final Examination conducted by ICAI. Preference shall be given to those having experience in ERP/Double Entry System.
6	Cost Accountant	1	OM =1	Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5200	i) Qualified Cost & Works Accountant having passed Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.

Age Limit: Age as on 01.01.2017

(a) Minimum age: 18 years

(b) Maximum age as under

1.	General category	40 years
2.	Physically Handicapped	42 years
3.	Members of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC	43 years
4.	Candidates already in Government Services/PSUs	40 years
5.	Ex-Servicemen	48 years

Note: candidates holding contractual appointment in the Government or in PSU shall be deemed to be inservice candidates for upper age limit provided that their contractual appointment subsists on the date of publication of this advertisement notice, who may through proper channel if desire so.

Such candidates who have already submitted their applications against the same posts advertised vide

Notification No. JKSPDC/ CJ/ADM/ EG-258/ 2694-2703 dated 22-11-2013 & No. JKSPDC/ ADM/ EG-258/012-32 dated 29.8.2015 need not to resubmit the applications. The list of such candidates is available on JKSPDCL corporate website www.jkspdc.nic.in. The candidates against whom discrepancy has been shown shall furnish necessary documents or resubmit their applications if they desire.

Application forms can be downloaded from JKSPDCL corporate website www.jkspdc.nic.in under the "Appointments and Postings" section. Application forms are also available from JKSPDCL Corporate Office,  Exhibition Road, Srinagar and at Camp office Ashok Nagar Satwari Jammu on working days from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM against a payment of Rs 200 in the shape of a DD drawn in favour of "General Manager (Accounts), Corporate Office and payable at Srinagar/Jammu". In case of Forms downloaded from the website, the cost of Form in the shape of DD shall be enclosed at the time of submission of Forms in the manner specified above.

JKSPDCL shall not be responsible for any postal delays or loss of applications. Attested photo Copies of Certificates to be attached with the application form A photograph to be affixed on the application Form, attested photo copies of the following certificates are to be attached with the application Form (Not Scanned one).

i. Date of Birth Certificate;

ii. Permanent Resident Certificate;

iii. Valid Category Certificate If any.

iv. Marks certificates of prescribed qualification,

v. Experience certificate in proof of practice at BAR.

Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of weightage assigned to merit obtained in qualifying examination and experience and called for interview in the ratio of 1:10 (No of posts: No of candidates).

The selection criteria for the posts shall be as under:

A. For the post of AGM (Contract), AGM (Arbitration) a AGM (Litigation).

C. Post of Chartered Accountant

Qualification	Weightage
(i) Marks obtained in the final examination of CA.	75 points pro-rata basis out of 100 points.
(ii) Working knowledge of double entry systems and ERP	10 (ten) points to experience in ERP/Double Entry System
(iii) Interview of candidates shortlisted on the basis of (i) & (ii) above.	15(fifteen) points.

D. Post of Cost Accountant

Qualification	Weightage
(i) Marks obtained in the final examination conducted by Institution of Cost ad Works Accountants of India.	85 (eighty five points) points on Pro- rata basis
(ii) Interview of candidates shortlisted on the basis of (i) above.	15(fifteen) points to viva voce.
