Reliance JIO Prime membership extended

Reliance Jio goes paid as per the plan from April 1, but the deadline to sign up for a Jio Prime membership has been pushed up to April 15. Earlier, the last date to subscribe to Jio Prime was March 31, after which, you would not be able to subscribe to the Jio Prime plan. Reliance Jio has also announced something it’s calling the Jio Summer Surprise, which works out to three months of free usage for anyone who subscribes to Jio Prime and signs up for a Rs. 303 (or higher) Prime Plan before April 15.

Reliance Jio announced late on Friday that in one month, over 72 million people had signed up for Jio Prime, and added that the deadline for purchasing a Jio Prime subscription (applicable for one year) along with Jio Prime plans, which offer more data that regular plans from Jio, will be available to customers until April 15

Examination Fee:
After successful submission of the form online, a challan will be generated indicating the basic details of the candidate which inter-alia shall indicate the amount of fee to be deposited in the J&K Bank branch as given below:-
General Category = ₹ 805.00
Reserved Categories = ₹ 405.00
The total amount of fee payable shall include Rs.05/- as service charges of the J&K Bank.

Prescribed Qualification:
MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the 3rd Scheduled (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of education qualification included in part-II of the 3rd Scheduled should fulfill the conditions stipulated in subsection (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

Scheme of Selection:
All applicants must fulfil the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the qualifications prescribed for the post. No enquiry for advice as to the eligibility will be entertained.
(i) The prescribed qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Further, the summoning of candidates for interview shall convey no assurance, whatsoever, that they will be selected. Appointment order of the selected candidates will be issued by the Govt., in accordance with the availability of vacancies.
(ii) A written test shall be conducted and the marks/points obtained by the participating candidates shall be apportioned proportionately against the marks earmarked for written test in the selection criteria. On the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the written Examination an oral test will be conducted which may be restricted as under:-

i. For 1-5 post: Five times the number of posts
ii. For 6-10 posts: Four times the number of posts subject to a minimum of 25.
iii. For exceeding 10 posts : Three times subject to a minimum of 40.

Thereafter, merit list will be prepared on the basis of merit obtained in the written and oral test in conformity with the criteria laid down under Rule 51 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980.
Provided further that the candidate(s) who have secured marks equal to those secured by the last candidate, shall also be called for the Interview over and above the number of candidates short listed for oral test.

How to Apply:
1. Candidates are required to register on the official website of JKPDC. After successful Registration, candidates are required to Login and fill all the required details like personal/contact/Educational details.
2. On successful submission of the online application, a window will open with a link toprint e-challan and application form
3. Candidates can also check the filled in form under “Submitted Applications” menu while login in their account and pay the fee through Challan/Online mode or at CSC centre as per their convenience.
4. After successful payment of fee through online mode or at CSC Centre, the candidate should get the printout of the online fee receipt so generated.

5. If the candidate wants to pay the fee through offline mode then he/she should take a printout of the fee payment challan and can deposit fees in any of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the designated account number only printed on the echallan.A counterfoil copy of the application fee payment e-challan duly authenticated by the bank with (a) branch name & code no and (c) date of deposit filled by the branch official shall be enclosed with the hard copy to be submitted in the office of the Commission alongwith other requisite documents as and when demanded by the Commission

Download of Admit Card for exam on 2nd April, 2017

JKSSB has issued notifications regarding exam that is going to be conducted in 2nd April, 2017. Instructions for downloading the admit card as provided by JKSSB are:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ADMIT CARDS
Visit the official website of the Board, Click on “Admit Card”. Subsequently, the
candidate has to provide / input his / her NAME , FATHER’S NAME, DATE OF BIRTH (as mentioned on the application form) followed by DATE OF EXAMINATION (i.e. 2nd of April, 2017), for downloading the Admit Card. Alternatively, the candidate can provide / input his /her APPLICATION No. and DATE OF BIRTH, followed by DATE OF EXAMINATION (i.e., 2nd of April, 2017) for downloading the Admit Card. In addition to this, they can also download their admit card from their respective user accounts.

In case, the Admit Card does not have photograph or signature on it, paste a good quality photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer as was pasted on OMR sheet/ on the online application form and make sure to sign at the space provided for signature; besides, such candidates shall bring same photograph (04 in number) at the time of written
test .

In case of any discrepancy in the provisional Admit Card, candidate should contact the following officers immediately and in any case before the start of examination :

(1) Administrative Officer, J&K Services Selection Board, Sehkari Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu for Jammu Province based candidates.

Terms & Conditions for engagement:-
1.The engagement shall be purely on term Contract basis for one year only. Contract shall be liable for immediate termination with one month prior notice or one month’s salary in lieu of notice, in case of performance below acceptable standard. Selected Candidates will be required to sign an agreement, containing Terms & Conditions as prescribed by the RMSA, J&K.
2. The candidate should be a Permanent Resident of the Jammu & Kashmir State.
3. The age as per SRO. 165 of 2014, Dated: 09-06-2014 shall be minimum 18 years and not more than 40 years. However upper age ceiling of 43 years for reserved category candidates, 42 years for Physically Challenged candidates as on 01-01-2017 shall be accepted.
4. The online applications shall be accompanied by qualification certificates including Degree Certificate, Marks Certificate of Graduation and Post-Graduation, Permanent Resident Certificate of self or spouse whichever applicable. Date of Birth Certificate, Category Certificate, if any, as per SRO 294 and other related documents duly self-attested (The selected candidates shall be required to produce original documents at the time of engagement.).
5. Applicants shall be eligible to apply only from the district of their Permanent residence. However married female candidates can apply from either the district of their residence before marriage or after marriage. Lady candidates applying from the district in which married must submit either her own PRC (Post- marriage) or the PRC of her husband. PRC shall be taken as the proof of residence. She shall also submit copy of marriage registration certificate. All certificates to be duly self-attested.
6. The candidate shall fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned for the post.
7. Application Fee: The online applications/documents should be submitted with fee of Rs. 100/- in favour of State Coordinator RMSA, J&K, payable at J&K Bank Moving Secretariat A/c (0110040100019408) as per the mode specified in the online process.
8. A candidate if eligible for more than one post may apply for such posts separately and shall have to pay fee for each of the posts applied for separately.
9. The candidate shall have to appear in written test on the date which will be communicated separately through our website. Criteria for selection shall be as under on pro rata basis:-

b. Graduation (Relevant) 20%.

10. The Subject Specific teachers so selected shall have to teach classes at any level as per the requirement of the school.
11. Ordinarily the candidate would be posted to a specific school (non transferable) so as to serve in his/her district of Permanent residence. However, the candidate may be required to serve in any part of the State and refusal to serve at the place of engagement will lead to immediate termination.
12. The engagement shall get terminated at the end of a year. Fresh engagement order shall be issued even if the same teacher is again selected to serve in the same school.
13. At the time of engagement the selected candidate shall have to file an affidavit undertaking (duly attested by Judicial Magistrate, 1st class) to the effect that he / she will not claim any entitlement for absorption in Govt, service or in the Society at any stage of their engagement with the society or thereafter at the closure of the project, and that he/she is ready to serve in any part of the State or such place where business of the society is being conducted.

JKPSC Combined Competitive Examination (KAS) 2016 Admit Card And Instructions

JKPSC has issued the instructions for the candidates who are going to appear in the Combined Competitive Examination (KAS - Kashmir administrative Services) 2016. The detailed instructions for the candidates are provided below:

It is re-iterated that the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2016 shall be conducted on 19.03.2017 in two Sessions as under:-

Forenoon Session - 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon 
Afternoon Session - 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM 



The Admit Cards are available on the Commission’s website (link at the end of this article). However, in case, a candidate is not able to download his/ her admit card and his name doesn’t figure in the deficiency/ rejection notice no.06 –PSC/ Exam/ 2017 dated: 27.02.2017, he or she may represent before the Commission by or before 10.03.2017 with a valid proof of having filled in Online Application form and bank challan duly signed with date of deposition of fee, failing which it shall be presumed that they are not interested in appearing in the said exam and no claim whatsoever after 10.03.2017 shall be entertained. 

The candidates are advised to take a printout of the admit card well in  advance to avoid last minute rush. In past cases have been noticed where some candidates have faced difficulty in accessing the server on the last day on account of server overload. Further the candidates are advised to adhere to the following instructions during the examination:-
1. Candidates shall carry Admit Card in the allotted examination centre to secure admission to the examination hall. Always keep the Examination Admit Card  with you and show it to the supervisory staff on duty as and when required/ demanded.
2. Do not write anything related or un-related to Examination on your Admit  Card.
3. Candidates should be seated in the examination hall 20 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
4. Candidates should carefully read the instructions given on the back side of the response sheet as well as on the question paper. Check the Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancy, if any, to the notice of  J&K Public Service Commission immediately.
6. You are responsible for safe custody of this Admission Certificate and in the  event of any other person using this certificate the onus to prove that you have not used the services of any impersonator shall lie on you.
7. Ensure that you are seated in the Examination hall 20 minutes before the scheduled time of commencement of the examination.
8. Before entering into the campus of the Examination Hall, make sure that you are not in possession of the Mobile Phone/Programmable Calculators or any unauthorized/ incriminating material. In case you are found in possession of  any unauthorized material during the examination, you shall be disqualified for such examination(s).
9. If you appear at a centre/ venue other than the one notified/ allotted by the Commission, your Answer Sheets shall not be evaluated and your candidature will be liable to cancellation.
10. You should bring your own instruments viz. blue/black ball point pen, drinking water bottle etc. No borrowing or exchange of articles would be allowed in the examination hall.
11. You shall not be permitted to leave the examination hall untill expiry of full time (i.e. two hours). 
12. In Examination hall, you shall be provided an OMR answer sheet and question booklet. You should read the instructions carefully on the back side of OMR sheet before filling in the item Nos.1-8. Item No. 9 is to be filled up by the invigilator.
13. The examination is Multiple Choice Type. Each question will have 04 options marked as A,B,C & D. You should choose the correct option and darken the corresponding oval on your OMR answer sheet by Blue or Black ball point pen.
14. The oval should be fully darkened, without causing any damage to the Response Sheet.
15. You should make your own arrangements of boarding and lodging, PSC shall not defray any TA/DA expenses.
16. Your candidature to examination is provisional, subject to the fulfillment of Eligibility Criteria.
Note: In case you find any discrepancy, in the test booklet in any question(s) or the Responses, a written representation explaining the details of such alleged discrepancy, be submitted within three days, indicating the Question No(s) and the Test Booklet Series, in which the discrepancy is alleged. Representation not received within time shall not be entertained at all.
Furthermore, concerned Invigilators deployed by the Supervisors for such duty may ensure that the above instructions issued to the candidates are followed by the candidates strictly. Any laxity on the part of invigilation staff shall be viewed seriously.

Reliance JIO Prime membership starts - New Plans Revealed

Reliance Jio is all set to begin enrolling customers on to its Jio Prime membership plans from March 1, effectively offering 1 GB high-speed 4G data and free calls for Rs 10 a day for an year. 
The membership fee for Jio Prime will be Rs 99 per year. The unlimited free voice, free data offered in the 'Happy New Year' scheme will be available to Jio Prime members for another 12 months for a price of Rs 303 per month. Jio Prime members will also get the bouquet of Jio media services till March 31, 2018.
Besides this plan, Jio plans to roll out two new monthly tariff plans at Rs 149 and Rs 499 which offer 2GB and 60 GB data along with free voice, respectively, according to note by brokerage firm CLSA.
For Jio Prime Members, two more monthly plans will be available other than the Rs 303 plan announced last week. The cheapest monthly plan is Rs 149 which offers free domestic voice and 2GB data without any daily limits. Another plan offers 60 GB (2GB daily data allowance) and unlimited voice for Rs 499

Jio will also offer long duration plans for Rs 999/1999/4999/9999 with validity for 60/90/180/360 days and data allowance of 60/125/350/750GB without any daily limits, according to CLSA.
Spelling out the fine print of Jio new tariff plans, the CLSA note stated that while subscription to Jio apps is available to all these plans, the company has limited free voice up to the first1,000 minutes/month, after which only calls within the Jio network will be free.
Jio Prime membership and its benefits could be cancelled unless a minimum recharge of Rs 149 is made every month.

For users who fail to sign up for the Jio Prime subscription before March 31, Jio will announce standard plans that will not only match the tariff plans of its rivals but will also offer 20 percent more data compared to its peers, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani had said on February 21.

1. Open MyJio app on your phone.
