CBSE Class 12th result likely to be declared tomorrow

What seemed like a forever wait for the CBSE Class 12 board exam results might soon reach the climax tomorrow with the sources confirming the release of the same to HT. Sources said that the results are likely to be declared on Saturday evening on the official website www.cbse.nic.in

The result date will be posted today by evening on the CBSE website. Over 27,65,993 students are eagerly waiting for CBSE class 10 and class 12 results of 2017. Yesterday, Education minister, Prakash Javadekar said that the results will be announced on time. "CBSE result will be declared on time, the date will be told by CBSE. No need to worry about court's order, justice will be done for all'', he said.
In the meeting yesterday, the Union HRD ministry also decided to seek legal opinion on a Delhi high court order asking the board to continue with a marking policy that it recently decided to nix. Moreover, it was decided that CBSE would be releasing the results as per the 'Marks Moderation Policy' or grace marks.

The moderation policy refers to a practice in which students are given extra marks in subjects regarded unusually difficult, or when there have been differences in the sets of question papers. Last year, the CBSE announced the Class 12 results on May 21.
Students as well as parents were quite unhappy with the delay
