Hizbul Mujahideen's latest batch of terrorists which is reportedly being trained at a camp in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir's Muzaffarabad
A Hizbul Mujahideen latest terrorist batch picture which was released on Wednesday morning is going viral on the internet. The image posted by news agency ANI shows the latest batch of terrorists reportedly being trained at a camp in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir’s Muzaffarabad. According to media reports, as many as 27 terrorists are being trained right now and are waiting to infiltrate to India. The image has been released just a few days after Hizbul commander and successor for Burhan Wani, Sabzar Ahmad Bhat was killed in Kashmir’s Tral region by the Army in an encounter.
The Army has stopped multiple attempts of infiltration in last few weeks. In such attempt, Burhan Wani’s successor in Hizbul, Sabzar Ahmad Bhat was gunned down on Saturday in in Tral in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from him, another militant, Faizan, was also killed in the encounter that began late Friday night in Soimoh village of the district.
“Relentless operations by security forces have defeated desperate attempts by Pakistan and Pakistan-sponsored agents to spread terror in the state in the run-up to the holy month of Ramzan,” the defence spokesman of the Northern Command had said responding to the incident. “Ops by security forces hv defeated attempts by Pak & Pak sponsored agents to spread terror in J&K in run-up to the holy month of Ramzan,” Army was quoted saying by ANI.
Shut down was reported in many parts of the Kashmir valley after the killing of Bhat. Sabzar, who used to live in Ratsona in Tral was an A++ category militant. The news of Bhat’s death triggered protests and stone-pelting across the Valley. A protester was killed in Tral and over 60 others were injured as security forces fired bullets and pellets in several places in South Kashmir, according to The Indian Express.
