JKPSC Combined Competitive Examination (Main) 2017

Online Application Form for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination by JKPSC for Jobs in J&K for KAS 2017. Candidates who already qualified the Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary) 2017 are eligible to apply for the Main examination. The details and application procedure are given below:

Important date:

a) Date of commencement of online applications = 13.05.2017

b) Last Date for receipt/submission of online applications = 10th June, 2017

c) Last Date for submission of fee/ Bank Challan = 18.06.2017

Vacancy Details:

Total Number of Vacancies = 277

a. Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service = 269 (OM-153, RBA-54, SC-23, ST-25, ALC-08,SOC Caste-06)

b. J&K Police (Gazetted) Service = 02 (OM-01, SC-01)

c. J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service = 06 (OM-02, RBA-02, ST-01, ALC-01)

Scheme of Examination: The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2016 shall consist of two successive stages - written test and interview

 Documents Required for Application:

The candidates shortlisted based on Preliminary Examination, besides, applying through online mode for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, shall also be required to submit a hard copy of the form alongwith the below mentioned requisite documents duly attested in the offices of the Commission located at Jammu and Srinagar as the case may be as:

(a) Academic qualification;

(b) Age;

(c) Character;

(d) Permanent residence of the State;

(e) Category Certificate, in case of candidates belonging to any reserved category.

Application fee:

General Category = Rs.1005

Reserved Categories/PHC = Rs.505

The amount of fee payable shall include Rs.5/- as service charges of the J&K Bank

Age Limit:

(i) A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but must not have crossed the age of 35 years (in case of OM candidates) on 1st January 2016 i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.01.1981 and not later than 01.01.1995.

(ii) The upper age limit in case of following shall, however, be 37 years again reckonable with reference to 01.01.2016:

a) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Socially and Educationally Backward Classes;

b) Candidates holding a civil post in the State in a substantive capacity.

The upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates is 38 years irrespective of the category to which such a candidate belongs.

How to apply:

Candidates are required to apply online through the website (www.jkpsc.nic.in) of the Commission. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. On successful submission of the online application, the candidate should take a printout of the fee payment challan and can deposit fees in any of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the designated account number only printed on the e-challan. A counterfoil copy of the application fee payment e-challan duly authenticated by the bank with (a) branch name & code no and (c) date of deposit filled by the branch official shall be enclosed with the hard copy to be submitted in the office of the Commission alonwith requisite documents.

Note:

Candidates will also be required to submit a hard copy of the downloaded online application form alongwith the bank challan duly stamped by the bank authorities and the other requisite documents within two days after depositing fee in the Office of the PSC Complex located either at Reshamgarh Colony, Jammu or Solina, Srinagar as the case may be.
