Jammu Development Authority (JDA) invites applications for
jobs in Jammu region for hiring/ engagement of subject experts/ consultants in
below mentioned fields having qualification and experience requirement as
mentioned against each category for preparation of Zonal Plans of Jammu city as

Subject Experts/ Consultants and Qualification
& Experience Required:

1. Heritage and Cultural Specialist – 01 post
Masters in conversation Architecture with Min. 20 years of relevant
experience.
2. Environmental & Ecology Specialist – 01 post
Doctorate in Environmental Planning/Environmental Science/Forest
Sciences with 20 years of relevant experience in ecological planning and
landscape. Also should be empaneled in Dev. Authority in India.
3. Transport – 01 post
Master in Transport planning with Min. 15 years experience in the
relevant field including practical experience in transport projects imple-
Mentation including multi model transport planning. Having undertaken projects
of linking urban planning and transport design green way Projects, planning for
mass transport system.
4. Urban Design Specialist – 01 post
Masters in Urban Design with more than 20 years of experience in
relevant field. Should have professional experience in preparation of Master
Plan/ Urban Design Projects.
5. Economics/ Financial Specialist – 01 post
Masters in Economics/ Finance/ Business Management with 20 years of
relevant experience in infrastructure development. Planning, Investment and
implementation.
6. Craft – 01 post
Master in Development Studies with 20 years of work experience with
Livelihood enhancement in Craft sector especially for women and Marginalised,
lead and establishment institutions in craft development. Experience in craft
more specifically in post disaster recovery Programs (earth quake, floods etc.)
7. Tourism – 01 post
Masters in tourism/Significant contributions to the sector of Tourism
and Eco Tourism through engagement with related organisation, working and
promoting eco tourism in the State Govt, and Govt, of India with Minimum 20
years of experience in relevant field.
8. Disaster/ Risk Management – 01 post
Masters Degree in Urban Planning with minimum 20 years of experience in
the relevant field. Especially having experience in post disaster recover, risk
reduction management and capacity building more especially related to floods
and earthquakes.
9. Urban
Sociologist – 01 post
PhD/Masters in Urban
Sociology with more than 20 years of relevant experience with community related
field work.
Terms and Conditions-
1. Interested experts having required qualification and
experience in the subject matter shall submit their application as per devised
format along with all self attested testimonials either in person in, the
office of The Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Jammu or through
e-mail [email protected]
within a period of 21 days from date of issuance of this notice i.e. upto 29 of
May, 2017.
2. The eligible experts/ consultants shall be called for
interview by the committee constituted, on the date and venue to be specified separately
preferably at Jammu. However appearing in the interview
will not confer any right for selection
3. No TA/DA shall
be given to eligible candidates for appearing in the interview.
4. The selected
experts/ consultants shall execute an agreement with the Jammu Development
Authority that they shall not claim any future engagement on the basis of the
service rendered or leave the assignment before completion of the contract
period. The\ will have no objection if there services are disbanded at any moment
b/ the Jammu Development Authority, Jammu if he/ she fails to Perform the professional
duties upto the desired expectations and the termination shall be made by
service of 15 days notice.
5. The selected
experts/ consultants shall be paid remunerations on the basis of actual working
days and boarding & lodging charges as per the rates mentioned in the
annexure available on the JDA website.
6. The experts/
consultants from outside the state shall have to give undertaking that they
will remain available to the authority as and when called and render the
services as per the schedule worked out by the authority itself.
7. This is made
clear that it is purely a consultation service with no claim of any extension.

(B) Boarding and Lodging
Travel: Only 4 round trips in a year for experts
to the extent of Rs. 10,000/= per trip per
head & total not exceeding Rs. 40,000/= in any case.
The charges per month at the above rate shall not exceed 60,000/- in case of
serial no. 1 and 84,000 in case of serial no. 2 and'so on.
Stay: 40% work in the city i.e. 40% of man days @
Rs. 8000/= per night shalj be paid for
stay only and for serial no. 1 it will therefore not
exceed Rs. 1.92 Lacs and for serial no. 2 shall not exceed Rs. 2.68 Lacs and so
on.
