TIMES NOW has accessed an NIA note that confirms the link between a separatist Asiya Andrabi with LeT chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.
“Credible information has been received by the Central government that Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Amir of Jamaat-ud-Dawah and the secessionist and the separatist leaders including the members and the cadres of the Hurriyat conference have been acting in connivance of the proscribed terrorist organisations Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Dukhtarane Milat, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and other terrorist organisations/ associations/ gangs for raising, receiving and collecting funds domestically and abroad through various channels, including hawala, for funding separatists and terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir through funds so collected and as such have entered into a larger criminal conspiracy for causing disruption in the Kashmir Valley by way of pelting stones on the security forces, systematically burning of schools, damage to public property and for waging war against India,” the NIA order states.
Separatist Asiya Andrabi is the founding leader of the Dukhtaran- e-Millat. Hence, the NIA has officially confirmed the link between separatist Asiya Andrabi to terrorist Hafiz Saeed.
Asiya Andrabi has on previous instances been arrested for instigating women and even young children to protest and pelt stones at security forces. She was identified as the main separatist leader who has been inciting women in the Valley to engage in stone pelting at the security forces, leading to the disruption of normal life after the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani.
