Jio explains how you can buy JioPhone, creates special page for those who want to get it

With No comments:
Reliance Jio transformed the telecom space majorly. With JioPhone, Mukesh Ambani is aiming to transform the feature phone space and counter other 'dumb' phone makers. Launched a week ago, JioPhone is effectively available for free (Rs zero) but the customers are required to pay a base amount of Rs 1500, which the company promises to refund back if the customer is unhappy with the handset and returns back. Well, if the JioPhone impress you much, you can opt for "Keep me posted" option so that you don't miss out to pre-book the phone.

About the availability, JioPhone, as announced by the company head - Ambani at Reliance Industries annual general meeting will be available for beta testing from August 15 onwards. Pre-bookings will begin from August 24 and the phone will be available to everybody from September 2017. The date of which is still not revealed by the company.
Jio has now updated its official website - Jio.com so that you don't miss out on a chance to pre-book the phone. There is no doubt that JioPhone will see heavy demand and the stock may go out of stock sooner than you can imagine. So, if you're interested to get yourself a JioPhone, the company gives you a chance to keep yourself posted as soon as the registration for the JioPhone starts on August 24.

Here's how to opt for "Keep me posted" option for JioPhone:
--Visit company's official website - Jio.com.
--Click on the "Keep me posted" option display on the "Introducing India Ka Smartphone JioPhone" banner on the homepage.
--Fill the form with all your personal details - name, contact number, email ID, and Pin code.
-- Check in to the terms and condition option.
-- Click on submit.
Once you click on the submit option, the page will display "Thank you for registering interest!" and will also send you an email stating "Greetings from Jio! Thank you for your interest. We have received your details and our team will contact you shortly. Thank You, Team Jio."
Like the network, JioPhone will possibly see a high demand. As per a latest report, Reliance Jio is expected to ship over 50 million JioPhones in the three months to the country. The report states, "Reliance Jio is going to bring in five crore JioPhones to India which it plans to sell in three months. The first few batches of the shipment have already arrived in India and at present are being dispatched to stores, "the report cites a source working close with Jio. "Jio is also ready with plan B if the uptake of JioPhone is not as per expectation. The company will come with another offer," further adds the report.

About the price, the JioPhone is effectively free of cost - Rs 'zero' in Mukesh Ambani's term. But, the customers will have to pay Rs 1500 as security deposit which will be refundable after 36 months on return of the phone. The customers will also have to take a plan of Rs 153 plan per month.
In terms of the confirmed specifications, the JioPhone comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera, 2.4-inch QVGA display, and a microSD slot for storage expansion. The phone is expected to be in two variants - one with dual SIM slot, and another one with single SIM slot. Further, about the processor, both Qualcomm and Spreadtrum confirmed that they have partnered with Jio to power the JioPhone. This probably makes it quite evident that JioPhone may come in two variants. However, the company is yet to confirm on the same.

Amarnath Yatra terror attack: Kashmiris vow strike won't smear Valley's famed hospitality

With No comments:
It was 11 am on Tuesday at the Batangoo area in Khannabal of south Kashmir where an attack on the Amarnath yatris had occurred a night before. The area was buzzing with security forces. Online broadcasting vans of news channels were parked on the roadside. Many shops were shut in the area and journalists were sitting on the shop fronts, possibly waiting for their editors' directions from newsrooms. Amid all this, traffic movement was normal. Everybody was aware of what had happened on Monday night. The local passengers were seen gazing at journalists or security forces in desperation to find out the status of the situation.

Militants killed seven pilgrims and injured 19 others. While many argue that the attack was directed against the pilgrims, the police version suggests that the bus carrying pilgrims was caught in the cross firing between the militants and police party. But in the times of tragedy like this, no one has time for nuances. Victims were pilgrims, and that's what matters.
This year's Amarnath yatra had begun under the highest-ever security  deployment as intelligence agencies had warned of an attack on police personnel and pilgrims of Amarnath yatra. A few reports had earlier said that IGP from Kashmir Zone Munir Khan had written a letter to the Indian Army, CRPF and range DIGs stating, "Intelligence input received from SSP Anantnag reveals that terrorists have been directed to eliminate 100 to 150 pilgrims and about 100 police officers and officials."

Eight Amarnath pilgrims were killed in terrorist attack in Anantnag.

At least eight Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were killed and ten other injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, media reported. The media reports could not confirm the death toll. The terrorists also attacked a police party in Bantigoo area beside targeting a bus carrying the pilgrims.
The attack took place hours after the Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba module with the arrests of two persons, including Sandeep Kumar Sharma alias Adil, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. 3 police men are injured in the attack.

JKNPP declares Jammu Bandh on June 11 in protest against the attack.

Reacting to the incident, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah said: “the attack cannot be condemned strongly enough.” Omar wrote on Twitter, “Very sad news. The attack cannot be condemned strongly enough. My sympathies to the families & prayers for the injured.
He added the attack was feared in spite of recent success by security forces. “The one thing we had all feared this year during the yatra. In spite of recent successes against militants & unprecedented force presence,” he tweeted.

Earlier, the Amarnath yatra was suspended from Jammu due to law and order situation in the Kashmir Valley under curfew for the death anniversary of militant commander Burhan Wani. Authorities clamped curfew in three towns, including Tral in Kashmir, and imposed restrictions on the movement of people in the rest of the valley.
