Indian Army Recruitment Rally at Udhampur, Jammu
An Army
Recruitment Rally will be conducted at Dhar Road Garrison, Udhampur from
13 April to 28 April 18. Recruitment will be based on Online Application
System for which candidates will have to visit the web page
www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Recruitment Rally will be held for all categories (Sol
NA, Sol GD, Sol Tech and Sol Clk/ SKT) for candidates of Jammu, Kathua,
Samba, Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Reasi Districts.
The dates and locations of Common Entrance Exam (CEE) for candidates screened
in the rally will be intimated during the rally. Negative marking system will
be followed in CEE (i.e ¼ negative mark for every wrong answer).
Categories that will be screened during the
recruitment rally and qualitative requirements are as under:-
(a) Soldier (General Duty).
(i) Age. 17 years and
06 months to 21 years as on 01 October 18.
(Born between 1st October 97 to 1st
April 01)
(ii) Height. 163 Cms.
(iii) Education
Qualification. Minimum 10th class
passed with 45% marks in aggregate and minimum 33% marks in each subject. No
percentage considered in case candidate has passed higher qualification i.e. 10
+ 2 and above (vocational streams not acceptable).
(b) Soldier (Technical).
(i) Age. 17 years and
06 months to 23 years as on 01 October 18. (Born between 1st October 95 to 1st
April 01)
(ii) Height. 163 Cms.
(iii) Education
Qualification.
(aa) 10+2 / Intermediate Exam
passed in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in
aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
(c) Soldier Technical
(Aviation & Ammunition Examiner).
(i) Age. 17 years and
06 months to 23 years as on 01 October 18.
(Born between 1st October 95 to 1st
April 01)
(ii) Height. 163 cms.
(iii) Education
Qualification. 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics,
Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks
in each subject.
OR
Three years Diploma in
Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobiles / Computer Science and
Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute
/ ITI (No education relaxation for this category is existing presently).
(d) Soldier Clerk / SKT.
(i) Age. 17 years and
06 months to 23 years as on 01 October 18.
(Born between 1st October 95 to 1st
April 01)
(ii) Height. 162 Cms.
(ii) Education
Qualification. Should have secured 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks
in aggregate in 12th class. Should have
studied English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in 12th class or 10th class
and should have secured minimum 50 % marks in each of these subjects, whether
studied in 12th class or 10th class. Even if a candidate is a graduate or
has a higher qualification, percentage marks scored in 12th class would be applicable towards his
eligibility.
(e) Soldier (Nursing
Assistant).
(i) Age. 17 years and
06 months to 23 years as on 01 October 18. (Born between 1st October 95 to 01 April 01).
(ii) Height. 163 Cms.
(iii) Education
Qualification. 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate and minimum
40 % marks in each subject.
OR
In case the candidate has a
“B.Sc Degree with (Botany / Zoology / Bio Science) and English, the stipulation
of percentage in 12th class is waived off.
However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in
12th class also.
Important Instructions:
1. No mobiles phones are
permitted inside the rally during the process of recruitment, anyone found with
mobiles will be disqualified.
2. Candidates are advised to
get their ear wax cleaned and get minor ailments treated. They must try and
remain medically fit for the rally to avoid disappointment at the time of
medical examination. Medical Examination will start from 14 April 18.
3. Sons of
Servicemen/ Ex-Servicemen should bring their RELATIONSHIP CERTIFICATE duly
signed by respective SENIOR RECORD OFFICER/CHIEF RECORD OFFICER ONLY.
Certificate with overwriting, tampering of seal or erasing of any type will not
be accepted.
4. Vocational stream of 10+2
is not yet recognized as equivalent of Intermediate.
5. All candidates are
requested to wear running shoes to avoid injuries to the foot. Proper running
dress will worn by all candidates.
6. Candidates not in
possession of the requisite documents will be debarred from recruitment rally.
7. Verification of education,
caste and residence certificate will be carried out prior to despatch of
candidates. Any irregularities observed will lead to cancellation to the
candidature at any stage.
8. A grievance cell will be
established at the rally site to address any grievances.
9. All candidates are advised
to refrain from interacting with touts and anti social elements. Touts cannot
help the candidates in any way as the recruitment is strictly on merit.
Candidates using unfair means will be disqualified and punitive action taken
against them.
10. All candidates should
produce proper caste certificate with religion mentioned. For example ‘HINDU’
will be mentioned against their specific caste i.e DOGRA HINDU, JAT HINDU etc.
In case of a caste certificate where religion is not mentioned, a separate
religion certificate issued by SDM and Tehsildar is necessary.
11. DRUG CHECK AT RECT RALLY.
(a) Candidates are liable to
be disqualified for use of physical performance enhancing drugs during
recruitment rally.
(b) Army will not be
responsible for any mishappening during the run/other physical test including
any due to consumption of drugs.
(c) Bilingual indemnity bond
should be signed by the candidate prior to the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
12. Negative marking would be
applied in the Common Entrance Examination (Written Test) for all categories.
13. Candidates below the age
of 21 years at the time of screening must be unmarried.
14. Aadhar is mandatory for
registration for the rally.
15. RECRUITING IS A FREE
SERVICE, EVERY CANDIDATE WILL BE GIVEN A FAIR CHANCE AND NO MONEY IS CHARGED
FROM ANYONE.
16. GATES FOR INTAKE OF
CANDIDATES AT THE RALLY SITE WILL CLOSE BY 0800 HRS DAILY.
17. NO CLAIM FOR ANY INJURY OR
LOSS SUSTAINED DURING THE RALLY WILL BE ENTERTAINED BY THE INDIAN ARMY.
18. ALL CANDIDATES SHOULD
PRODUCE AADHAR CARD & PAN CARD DURING DESPATCH TO TRAINING CENTRES.
