I) JK Police Recruitment 2018 for Constable in J&K Executive Police (Kashmir Province) for Migrants/ Kasbmiri Pandits.

J&K Police invites online applications from eligible candidates (Migrants/ Kashmiri Pandits) of Kashmir Valley for recruitment as Constable in Executive Police (Kashmir Province) under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Package against the vacancies in accordance with provisions of SRO 412 of 2009 dated 30-12-2009 read with SRO-425 of 2017 dated 10-10-2017 as per the following category-wise breakup:-

Note:- The recruitment will be made for a total number of 100 vacancies in Executive Police distributed as per guidelines of Department of Disaster Management Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction OM No. DMRRR/MR/140/2017 dated 23-10-2017 in Executive Police.



Pay Scale: Pay Band-I of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade pay 1900/- (Now revised 19900-63200 Level-2)

Eligibility Criteria:  The educational qualification, age and physical standards prescribed for the above mentioned posts are specified as under:-

Qualification
The Candidate should have passed matriculation examination or equivalent from any Government recognized Board before the cutoff date for submission of application form.
ii)
Age (as on January, 1 sst 2018)
The candidates should not be below 18 years and above 28 years in age.
(The candidates horn before 01.01.1990 and after 31.12.1999 shall not be eligible.)
However, in case of serving SPOs/Voluntary Home Guards (VHGs) with a continuous period of engagement of minimum three years and five years respectively, the upper age limit shall be 37 years and for Ex-Servicemen it shall be 48 years.

The candidates possessing basic eligibility criteria viz age and educational qualification as prescribed here-in-above shall be subject to the following tests:-

A.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)-Qualifying in nature

 (candidates who qualify the Physical Endurance Test (PET) shall be eligible for the Physical Standard Test (PST).
Long Race = 1600 meters in 6 1/2 minutes
For Males (six minutes thirty seconds).
For Females 1000 meters in 6 1/2 minutes
(six minutes thirty seconds).
Pushups = 20 (one cycle of up and (male candidates down to be counted as one) only)
Shot Put (4Kgs) = 14'/2 feet in three
(Female candidates attempts
only)
• The test shall be of qualifying nature for which no marks will be allotted.
B.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Measurement of Height and Chest The candidates are also required to bring alongwith their original documents/testimonials for scrutiny during the PST.
C.
Written Examination (Objective type)
Only for the candidates who qualify and meet the requirement of “A & B” of this para shall be allowed to sit in written test.
The written test will consist of objective type questions. The question paper will consist of 100 questions to be attempted in 2 hours. The question paper will be of matriculation standard and will comprise questions on general awareness/general knowledge, elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability.

Application Fee: A candidate shall deposit a fee of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred  only) online or use the services of Common Service Centers. In case of non availability of online payment facility, the candidates may use the option of depositing the application fee through Bank Challan. 



Important Instructions:
1) The candidates shall be required to furnish a certificate duly issued by concerned Deputy Commissioner to the effect that he/ she belongs to Kashmiri Pandit family, has not migrated from the valley and is presently residing in their concerned District. Similarly, for migrants candidates a bonafied certificate duly issued by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, shall be required to deposit at the time of scrutiny of testimonials /documents during Physical Standard Test (PST).
2) Candidates already in Government service and conforming to the prescribed standards can apply through proper channel after obtaining NOC from their Head of the Department without which the online applications will not be entertained.

3) In case of tie in merit, the preference will be given to the candidate older in age.

4) In terms of the directions issued by the State Government vide No. Home/PB-III/62/G/2008 dated 25-09-2009, the horizontal reservation to the extent of 15% and 4% shall be given to eligible serving SPOs and VHGs respectively (provided SPOs have completed continuous engagement of 03 years and VIIGs have completed 05 years of service on the last date of submission of online application). Besides, horizontal reservation to the extent of 6% shall be given to eligible Ex-Servicemen.

5) The appointee shall have to execute an agreement with the Government on the Form, (forming annexure to rules of SRO-412) that he will serve in the valley against the post on which he is appointed and at a place where he will be posted. In case the appointee migrates from Valley again for any reason whatsoever, he shall lose the job without any notice and shall stand terminated.
6) The pay structure of the appointees shall be regulated as per the provisions of SRO 202 of 2015 dated 30-06-2015.
7) Upon their appointment, candidates who have obtained any loan/stipend under the self employment scheme or any other category will be allowed to join only in case they obtain a clearance certificate from the concerned department/ bank to the effect they have refunded the loan/ cleared the liability.
8) The candidates shall have to appear in the prescribed tests at their own expenses on the date and venue to be communicated by the Police Recruitment Board, through press or electronic media.
9) The selected candidates shall be subjected to prescribed medical cxamination/checkup through Standing Medical Boards and the appointment orders shall be issued only after receipt of satisfactory medical report and clearance about his/her character/antecedents from CID Headquarters. The selected candidates shall be required to undergo the prescribed Basic Training Course.


II) JK Police recruitment 2018 for the post of Follower in J&K Executive Police (Kashmir Province) for Migrants/ Kashmiri Pandits.

JK Police invites online applications  from eligible candidates (Migrants/ Kashmiri Pandits) of Kashmir Valley for recruitment as Follower in Executive Police (Kashmir Province) under Hon'ble Prime Minister's Package against the vacancies in accordance with provisions of SRO 412 of 2009 dated 30-12-2009 read with SRO-425 of 2017 dated 10-10-2017 as per the following category wise breakup:-

Eligibility Criteria: The educational qualification, age and physical standards prescribed for the above mentioned posts are specified as under:-

Candidate should have passed at least Matric from anv recoanized Institution.
ii)
Age as on Jan, 1st 2018 :-
Candidate should not be more than 40 years and not less than 18 years of age. (The candidates born before 01.01.1978 and after 31.12.1999 shall not be eligible.)



The candidates possessing basic eligibility criteria viz. age and educational qualification as prescribed here-in-above shall be proficient in the trades viz. Cook, Washer Man, and Water Carrier and shall be subjected to the following tests:-

A candidate shall deposit a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) online or use the services of Common Service Centers. In case of non availability of online payment facility, the candidates may use the option of depositing the application fee through Bank Challan. Candidates are requested to read and follow these instructions carefully as no amount once deposited will ever be refunded for reasons whatsoever.



Important Instructions:
1. The Police Department undertakes the Recruitment under Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP), which is a technology driven recruitment policy and envisages inter-alia conduct of written tests on scientific lines with use of:-
a. Use of bio metric devices to eliminate duplication and impersonation.
b. Use of CCTV technology to videograph various stages of recruitment and thereby maintain a backup of record and also track of the activities at various recruitment centers simultaneously functioning across the State.
c. Use of OMR/ICR for conduct of the written test.

3. In terms of the directions issued by the State Government vide No. Home/PB- III/62/G/2008 dated 25-09 2009, the horizontal reservation to the extent of 15% and 4% shall be given to eligible serving SPOs and VHGs respectively (provided SPOs have completed continuous engagement of 03 years and VHGs have completed 05 years of service on the last date of submission of online application). Besides, horizontal reservation to the extent of 6% shall be given to eligible Ex-Servicemen.
4. The candidate working as SPOs/Volunteer Home Guard and conforming to the eligibility as envisaged in para 2(ii) of the notice shall attach certificate) relating to their engagement as SPO/Volunteer Home Guards issued by the concerned DDO/ SSP under his seal/signatures with date of issue. No such certificate will be entertained after the last date of submission of online application.
5. The appointee shall have to execute an agreement with the Government on the Form, (forming annexure to rules of SRO- 412) that he will serve in the valley against the post on which he is appointed and at a place where he will be posted. In case the appointee migrates from Valley again for any reason whatsoever, he shall lose the job without any notice and shall stand terminated.
