Graduation or its equivalent degree from any recognised
University with minimum 50% marks for General Category candidates and 45%
marks for Reserved Category candidates, with a typing speed of 30 words per
minute on Computer Key Board.
Criteria of Selection:-
Written Test =50 marks
Type test on Computer Key board =30 marks Qualification (Prorata basis) =20 marks for Graduation only Note: -
The candidates who qualify the stage first test i.e
written test with minimum 50% marks shall be called for type test on Computer
Key Board. For qualifying type test, the candidates have to register a
minimum speed of 30 words per minute for which they will be given 10 marks
and for more speed the candidates will be given marks on prorata basis
depending upon their speed.

(b) 43 years in case of SC/ST/RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates.

(e) 40 years in case of candidates in Government Service/Contractual employees;

Application on the prescribed format shall be submitted on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.ac.in and a fee of Rs 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred) only be deposited through online mode or Bank Challan to be downloaded along with the filled application form after its successful submission on the website,
• The eligible candidates who will qualify the written test (Stage-1) with minimum 50% marks shall be eligible to compete for Type test on Computer Key Board (Stage-11) which they have to qualify with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
• In case any error or mistake is committed by applicant in filling form, the form shall be declared null and void and the concerned candidate will cease the candidature.
• Only such degrees/ diplomas obtained through distance mode shall be entertained as are in consonance with the Govt. Order No. 252-HE &f 2012 dated. 30.05.2012, on the terms and conditions mentioned therein. 9, In terms of SRO 202 of 2015 dated 30.06.2015, it is further prescribed/ notified as;
i) Appointment would be on regular basis from the date of appointment.
ii) A person appointed under these rules shall be initially on probation for a period of five years and after completion of five years his service shall be declared as permanent.
iii) The person appointed against any available vacancy on the basis of being a resident of backward area or an area adjoining Line of Actual Control shall serve in such areas for a period of not less than seven years as provided under sub section (2) of Section Reservation Act, 2004.
iv) During the period of first five years, the appointee shall be entitled to the minimum of scale of pay along with the grade pay applicable to the post against which he is appointed.
v) Every appointee shall after completion of five years period on probation be entitled to fixation of pay in the time scale of pay applicable to the post against which he is appointed. The persons appointed under these rules shall be entitled to annual increments, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and City Compensation Allowance after successful completion of their five years service on consolidated salary.
vi) The appointees shall be entitled to the benefits under the Medical Attendance Rules and Leave Rules from the date of their appointment.
vii) The seniority of persons appointed under these rules shall reckon from the date of their appointment on the basis of their merit in the selection.
viii) The Period spent on Probation /consolidated salary shall also reckon for purposes of calculating the qualifying service of these appointees for pension and benefits, if any, under rules.
No TA/DA will be paid for participation in the written test/Type Test on computer keyboard.
