Pay Scale: The posts carry the pay scale of Rs.52700-166700 (Level 9)

Age Limit: Age as on 1^st January 2019:

• Minimum - 18 years

• Maximum - 40 years

a. Physically Challenged candidates - 42 years

b. Candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories - 43 years

c. Candidates in Govt. Service (in respect of candidates already working in ll&ME Department on substantive basis) - 45 years

d. Ex-serviceman - 48 years

e. From item no. 33 to 36 age bar age limit for all categories - 50 years

Examination Fee:

After successful submission of the online form, the candidate will be required to deposit requisite fee through online mode. The amount of fee to be paid is given below:-

• General Category = Rs.800.00

• Reserved Categories =  Rs.400.00

• PHC Candidates = Nil

The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Anatomy	As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while
Physiology	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Bio-Chemistry	As Registrar/tutor. Demonstrator/tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized teaching Medical institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir: The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during the post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the post of Lecturer.

The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Medicine	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
CD&TB	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers
Dermatology	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Paediatrics	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Surgery	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
HNT	As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of. two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Ophthalmology	As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Radio Diagnosis	As Registrar/ Tutor, or an equivalent post in Radio-Diagnosis and Imaging for 2 years in a Medical College or a Recognized Teaching Medical Institution such as AIMS New Delhi, Chandigarh, JIMER Pondicherry and such other institutions, as are recognized by the Medical council of India.
Radio Therapy	As Registrar/Tutor, or an equivalent post in Radio-therapy for 2 years in a Medical College or a Recognized Teaching Medical Institution such as AIMS New Delhi, PGI Chandigarh, JIMER Pondicherry and such other institutions, as are recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Social & Preventive Medicines	As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery	M.Ch (Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery)/M.Ch (Cardiac Surgery)/ M.Ch(Vascular Surgery)/M.ch (Thoracic Surgery)/DNB (Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgcry)/DNB(Cardio Surgery)/DNB (Vascular Surgery)/DNB (Thoracic Surgery).
