SPOs Recruitment in district police Doda

Applications as per enclosed proforma are invited from the permanent residents of J&K State for their engagement as Special Police Officer (SPOs) in J&K Police (District Doda) against the monthly honorarium as admissible in terms of Policy for such engagements.

These SPOs are required to meet the emerging requirements in the field of anti militancy operational duty only.

The educational qualification, age and physical standard prescribed for the engagement as SPO are specified as under:-

II	Age as on 1st January-2019	Candidates should not less then 18 years and not more then 28 years of age (The candidate born after 31.12.2000 and before 01.01.1991 shall not be eligible)
III	Physical standard	Male	Female
		Height = 5’ - 6” (Minimum) Chest = 32” Un-expanded 33 V2” Expanded	Height = 5’ - 2” (Minimum)
IV	Physical endurance test	Male	Female
		1600 Meters race in 6 minutes and 15 Seconds	1000 Meters race in 6 minutes and 15 Seconds
V	Push ups	For male only:- 20 (1 Cycle of up and down to counted as one)

1. Note:- All the above tests shall be qualifying in nature:-

The application forms (as per annexure) should be accompanied by attested copies of the following certificates:-

i. Date of birth certificate (Matriculation)

ii. Academic qualification certificate

iii. State subject certificate

iv. 04 Copies of recent passport size photographs

Last date of Application: The application forms shall be submitted in the concerned Police Stations w.e.f. 24.07.2019 to 03.08.2019. No forms shall be accepted beyond the prescribed date.

Qualification criteria: Following criteria shall be adopted by the board while framing the final selection list of SPOs.

The NOKs of Martyrs shall begiven additional 02 marks.

Note:-

i. Application forms incomplete in any manner or not filled up properly shall be rejected.

ii. The engagement is purely on temporary basis. No. claim shall lie for permanent absorption/ continuous engagement.

iii. Indiscipline of any kind including absence from duty shall render the engagement as nullified without any notice.
