GATE online examination 2021 notification

GATE has issued notification for GATE 2021 online examination. IIT Bombay is the organising institute for GATE 2021. The details and notification are provided below. 

Important Dates:

• Starting Date for Apply Online: 14-09-2020

• Closing Date to Submission (Online) of Application: 30-09-2020

• Extended Closing Date for Submission of (Online) Application: 07-10-2020

• Extended Closing Date for Submission of (Online) Application with Late Fee: 12-10-2020

• Last Date for Requesting Change of Examination City (an additional fee will be applicable): 13-11-2020

• Admit Cards Available on Website: 08-01-2021

• Date of GATE examination : 05 to 07 & 12 to 14-02-2021

Forenoon: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon   (Tentative)  

Afternoon: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Tentative)

Friday (5 th February 2021), Saturday (6th February, 2021), Sunday(7th February 2021), Friday (12th February 2021), Saturday(13th February 2021), Sunday (14th February 2021) 

• Date of Announcement of Results on Online Application Portal: 22-03-2021

Application Fee (Pay on or before 14 to 30-09-2020):

• All Other Categories Rs. 1500/-

• SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female: Rs. 750/-

During the Extended Period (01 October to 07 October, 2020):

• All Other Categories: Rs. 2000/-

• SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female: Rs. 1250

Payment Mode: Debit/ Credit card/ Net Banking

Qualification:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts, MBBS, Master Degree (Arts/Science/Mathematics/Statistics/ Computer Applications)

Pattern of examination:

There is NO age limit to appear for GATE 2021 examination

How to apply:

Application for GATE 2021 must be submitted ONLINE (through GOAPS website, 

https://appsgate.iitb.ac.in) by paying necessary application fees. Starting Date for online application is 14th September, 2020.
