Applications are invited in prescribed format annexed as Annexure A from the candidates of UT of J&K for engagement on Academic Arrangement Basis in terms of SO-364 dated: 27-11-2020 initially for a period of one year extendable up to a maximum of six years ( One year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with the relevant Recruitment Rules, governing the respective posts by the JKSSB whichever is earlier:

The candidates are advised to enclose the attested true copies of the following documents with their application forms which should reach the office of the undersigned by hand or through registered post before 20/07/2021.GMC Rajouri will not be responsible for any postal delay. No application form shall be accepted after the cut off date i.e.20/07/2021.

Any application form found deficient in any respect shall be rejected without any intimation. The eligible candidates shall have to appear before the selection committee constituted by the Competent Authority at Government Medical College Rajouri along-with all original testimonials and other related documents at the time of interview. The academic merit shall be calculated as per the preset/preapproved rules for each candidate for the purpose of selection.
However, in case of large no. of application forms received 1:5 candidates shall be called for interview. In case of any dispute, the decision of Chairperson of the selection committee shall be final. The candidate appearing for interview shall not be entitled for any TA/DA.
The date of interview shall be notified separately.
Note:
2. Further, the appointment on academic arrangement basis shall by itself stand terminated on the attainment of 63 yrs of age by the appointee.
3. The academic arrangement shall cease on joining of regular appointed candidates selected and posted by the competent authority on regular basis.
4. The selected candidates shall have to enter into an aggrement that they will not leave the institution before the completion of one year's contract. Abandoning/terminating of the agreement as the case may be paid for one month's prior notice on either side failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month's to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and the same be released in completion of terms.
5. In-service candidate may not apply.
6. Candidates for the post should not be of more than 63 yrs of age as on the date of issuance of notice.
7. All further communications regarding the entire process will be available on the website of college i.e. www.gmcrajouri.in newspapers. Candidates are requested to keep themselves updated by regularly visiting the website/college. No individual communication shall be made in this matter.
This is without any prejudice to any writ petition pending before any Hon'ble Court of law.
