JKSSB invites online application from eligible candidates who are Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for participation in the selection process for District/ Divisional/ UT Cadre posts for jobs in J&K UT.

Application Fee:-

A) For two stage examination posts:-

Fee payable: Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred and fifty only) for General Category etc. and Rs.450/-(Rupees Four Hundred and fifty only) for SC,ST, PwD & EWS Categories.

B) For single stage examination posts:-

Fee payable: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for General Category etc. and Rs.400/-(Rupees Four Hundred only) for SC, ST,PwD & EWS Categories.

(II) Fee can be paid only online through Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards.

All the disputes related to refund of excess payment, if any, are subject matter of the J&K Service Selection Board. Candidates are advised to apply for refund of excess payment, if any, through official E-mail [email protected] only. No chargeback request shall be entertained.

How to apply:

Candidates are required to apply online through JKSSB’s online Application Portal-https://ssbjk.org.in No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

Centre of Examination:

The J&K Services Selection Board shall notify the Venue /Centre(s) of examination separately. No representation/ request for change in this regard shall be entertained, whatsoever be the reason.

Pay Scale: Level-4 (25500-81100)

Post: Junior Assistant - 13 posts

Qualification: Graduation from any recognized university with Knowledge of Type having not less than 35 words speed per minute in type writing on key board.

Selection criteria:
Skill Test = 20 points
Written Examination/ CBT =80 points

(The marks obtained in the Type Test shall be proportionately allotted against 20 points earmarked for the type test)

2. Item 084. Forest,Ecology & Environment Director Forest Protection Force

Pay Scale: Level-5 (29200-92300) Inspector

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with Science subject at 10+2 level & with following Physical standards:

Walk Test: 
Male 25 Kms in 04 hours
Female 16 Kms in 04 hours

Physical fitness certificate to be issued by CMO

Selection criteria:The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in the written examination only. The candidate shall have to qualify Physical Standard Test and walk test to be eligible to appear for written examination.
